How to get there?

To get to the conference hotel from the airport you have four options: Public transport, Flybus, taxi or a rental car.

The public transport company in Iceland is called Strætó. Here ( Route 55. KEF – Airport   Reykjavík – Strætó ) you can find its timetable from KEF airport. The stop closest to the conference hotel (Hotel Viking) is “Fjörður”. It is an estimated 6 min walk from the hotel (see picture). One-way price is ISK 1.800, payable by card on board the bus

There is one Flybus company serving KEF-airport. Their website can be found here ( Flybus – Official Airport Transfer | Keflavík to Reykjavík | Flybus ).

There is no timetable for trips from the airport as the company synchronizes with arrivals, even if there are delays. Here ( Plan Your Trip | Flybus Keflavík Airport → Reykjavík Transfers | Flybus ) you can find a timetable for trips to the airport. If you are going straight to the conference hotel, Hotel Viking, make sure to choose the destination “Fjörukráin”. The Flybus stops directly outside the hotel. One-way price is 3.999 ISK.

The journey from the airport to Hotel Viking by car/taxi is aprox. 25 minutes.
